If you see something that breaks the rules, report it. Do not reply to it —
replying pushes it up the list and drags other people in.
How reporting works
Every post carries a Report action. Reporting sends the post to the
moderation queue with a snapshot of what it said at the moment you reported it,
so an edit afterwards cannot hide the original.
Tell us why in your own words. "Rule 2, this screenshot has someone's phone
number in it" is far more useful than a bare flag.
What happens next
A moderator reviews it. Depending on what they find, the post may be left
alone, edited with a note, or hidden. The author is told what happened and why.
You will not always be told the outcome — often the resolution involves the
other person's account, which is not ours to share. That is not the report
being ignored.
What NOT to report
- A post you disagree with. Disagreement is not a rule breach.
- A duplicate question. Moderators merge those; it is not a report.
- Something that happened outside the forum. Use the in-app reporting route,
which reaches the team who can act on it.
If you think a moderator got it wrong
Say so. Reply in the topic if it is still visible, or use the contact route in
the app. Every moderation action is recorded with an actor, a timestamp and a
reason, so "why was this removed" always has an answer.
Blocking
Blocking a member is a platform-wide setting, not a forum one — you manage it
in your account settings, and it applies everywhere. (Blocking does not yet
filter what you see in the forum; that is a known gap and it is on the list.)
